Many people do not know the outcomes of what may happen when they choose to operate a vehicle while under the influence. Being charged with vehicular homicide was definitely not part of, twenty-year-old Jose Nevarez-Coronado’s day.
Jose Coronado was allegedly drunk when he hit Yvonne Frye, a much-loved professor at the Community College of Denver this past Thursday 10-07-10. For those that knew her it is a devastating lost but for the ones that don’t, it is simply another story of a reckless driver hitting and killing somebody while under the influence.
A memorial and scholarship fund has been established because of this tragic event.
People need to remember that everything they do has consequences. Whether positive or negative there is always an outcome for everyone's actions. It is our duty to make sure that what we do will not put not just ourselves in danger but also those around us.
